The sequel to Battalion Wars again offers the chance to take control of
your own battalion of fighters. Your task is to search the mass of
terrain available in the game, lock onto targets, and ensure that you
battalion are successful in their missions. There are strategies to
utilise, taking land and buildings under your control, allowing you to
strengthen your position for the ground assault. The game makes full use of
the unique Wii control system and offers both action and strategy
elements. The game also introduces a sea based combat element in the form of
naval ships.
Different tactics and different terrains play a part in how the game pans out,
with training, then actual combat. Combat entails a variety of
artillery battles, search and destroy and shoot’em up phases. Timing and
strategy are vital, as the battles get tougher and tougher as you approach
Paris.
